Every year we sponsor the 30+ Tyro baseball teams that benefit hundreds of children because we believe supporting healthy activities also helps children socially, emotionally and academically.
These students raised the funds to build a well in Ethiopia and we provided matching funds to build a second one.
We presented a lecture on cotton ecology and the students helped us re-purpose t-shirts by going on a field trip to Goodwill and selecting shirts that were appropriate for printing our logo on the back. We cleaned them and offered them to patients instead of using new t-shirts.
With our support, the students planted a tree on campus and helped maintain Paulus Park.

This one was just for fun! Elaine Foley was the teen winner of the Chicago Rose of Tralee contest a few years back and we were impressed by how this little organization provides opportunities for young women and supports community building.
