Board-certified Cary orthodontist Dr. John Foley is passionate about creating healthy, beautiful smiles, and he’s ready to give you and your family the time and attention you deserve.
As a graduate of Mayo Clinic and a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. John has the expertise to customize your treatment plan around your lifestyle goals.
Dr. John Foley grew up in Lake Zurich, IL, and from a young age, he knew he wanted to become an orthodontist.
Mayo Clinic-Trained
Dr. Foley graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Science degree. He was honored to be the only dentist selected to study orthodontics at the prestigious Mayo Clinic hospital in Rochester, MN, following dental school.
After completing his education, Dr. Foley went on to create healthy, beautiful smiles in suburban Chicago. In 2015, Dr. Foley moved to Raleigh, and he has been creating beautiful smiles in the Cary community ever since.

Dr. Foley is a board-certified orthodontist, a designation held by only 58% of orthodontists. Dr. Foley is involved in multiple dental and orthodontic organizations, including:

Outside of the Office
Dr. Foley enjoys spending time with his wife, Neely, and their three boys, Tadhg, Knox, and Finnley. They love exploring all that North Carolina and the Triangle have to offer!
